The aim of supervision provided by Sapiens is for staff to feel supported and contained within the work they do and develop their capacity to reflect and process distressing dynamics raised through the work.
The provision and creation of a safe, non-judgemental space where clinical material can confidentially be explored is essential. This includes exploration of the personal and interpersonal dynamics of the work in a supportive, contained way in order to enhance team cohesion and highlight possible manifestation of the unconscious dynamics aligned to the clinical work.
Space is given to the exploration of theoretical concepts and models helpful in providing a framework to understand the challenging dynamics raised through the work. Within this space the aim is to create a culture where positive relationships promote well-being for all participants and a recognition and respect for the contributions of all parties involved.
